When I think of a counterculture, basically i think of a group that goes against the basic group of people. They have different views on how one should live. They are strongly passionate about how they view issues and ways of life. One example i would choose to be a counterculture would be an Amish way of life. Because they live in our world and fit, but they are different from the other groups.
A subculture is a group of people that are completley different. When i think of a subculture, i think of something that is like a hobby or a different style of life. For example a Guiddo- they live to party, be tan, drink and go out. They are a different group of people that live in society but are noticed to be different. Another type of group are other kins they are a subculture because they are completely different than the rest of the world. They beleive in fairies, witches vampires and magic.
