My research site was very helpful in learning about the otherkin subculture. It showed me the different aspects of being an otherkin i learned about their race; otherkins are a different race unlike humans they beleive themselves to not be humans at all they think that they are other creatures put in human bodies. They also believe that they have a different history that they have a past unlike any other human. Each group of otherkin species are all individuals they all are part of  group but they can roam free on their own they are under the survalliace of the group but only when they want to be. They can leave when they want and they don't have to made to stay. The otherkin species work as a community through their sites because they hold functions and meetings, they are communiticate through chat and their blogs.
